These Betting Rules set out how bets are placed, accepted, and settled on OKplay. They apply to sports betting and any other betting-style products offered on the platform. These rules work together with our Terms & Conditions; if a specific betting topic is not covered here, the Terms & Conditions and the relevant event or market rules will apply.
1) Definitions
- Bet: A wager placed on a market with a defined outcome and odds.
- Market: A specific selection type within an event (for example, match winner or total points).
- Odds: The price offered for a selection at the time your bet is accepted.
- Stake: The amount you wager, usually in PHP unless another currency is offered.
- Live Betting: Betting offered while an event is in progress.
- Void: A bet treated as cancelled and returned according to these rules.
2) Placing a Bet
To place a bet you must have a registered OKplay account, be eligible to use the services, and have sufficient available balance. When you submit a bet request, it is not automatically accepted. A bet is considered accepted only when it is confirmed by the system and recorded in your account history. If a bet is rejected (for example, due to price changes, market suspension, or technical reasons), your stake will not be committed.
3) Odds, Price Changes, and Confirmation
Odds can change quickly, especially during Live Betting. If odds change between your request and system acceptance, OKplay may accept at the updated odds, offer a re-quote process where you confirm the new odds, or reject the bet. You are responsible for checking the final accepted odds shown in your bet record. Where minimum or maximum stake limits apply, these may vary by sport, market, or risk controls.
4) Bet Types and General Rules
OKplay may offer single bets, multiples, and other bet types. For multiple bets, if one leg is voided, the multiple may continue with that leg treated as odds of 1.00 (or an equivalent neutral value) unless the product rules specify another settlement method. Some markets may have special rules (for example, handicap rounding, overtime inclusion, or set-based scoring). If a market includes such conditions, they will be displayed or otherwise made available within the product.
5) Live Betting Specifics
Live Betting includes additional risks such as delays in data delivery, temporary market suspension, and rapid score changes. OKplay may suspend markets at any time, including after significant match incidents (goals, red cards, penalties, injuries, timeouts, or other material events). If a bet is placed after a decisive event but before the platform updates, it may be voided or corrected if the accepted time clearly conflicts with the real match situation.

6) Settlement and Results
Bets are settled based on the official result source used by OKplay for that sport or competition. Settlement normally occurs after the event or market result is known. If results are later amended by an official body (for example, a correction to a final score), OKplay may decide whether to re-settle depending on the nature of the change, the time elapsed, and operational feasibility. Unless otherwise required by applicable rules, decisions made for bet settlement are intended to maintain consistent and fair outcomes.
7) Voids, Cancellations, and Abandonments
If an event is cancelled, postponed, or abandoned, the relevant market may be voided unless the market outcome was already determined. Some markets can be settled early if the result is mathematically certain at the time of interruption. If an event is rescheduled, bets may remain valid only if the market rules explicitly allow it; otherwise, bets may be voided. Where “played” time thresholds apply (for example, a minimum number of minutes), OKplay will apply the threshold consistently for the sport and market.
Situation Settlement Notes
Event cancelled before start Void Stake returned; multiples continue per rules
Event abandoned after start Void or settle if outcome already determined Depends on market type and certainty of result
Clear official result correction May be re-settled Handled case-by-case for fairness and consistency
Duplicate bet due to confirmed system issue Corrected We may cancel duplicates and return affected stakes
8) Errors, Palpable Mistakes, and Technical Faults
OKplay works to display accurate odds and market information, but errors can happen. If an obvious pricing error, market mismatch, or incorrect score is used to accept a bet, OKplay may void the bet, correct the odds to a reasonable market level, or apply another fair correction method. A correction may occur where the error is clearly identifiable, such as odds that are materially different from common market prices or a market offered on the wrong participant or period. If a technical malfunction affects bet placement or settlement, we may adjust affected bets to restore fair outcomes, including returning stakes where appropriate.
9) Responsible Betting Conduct
You are responsible for ensuring you understand the market and the risk before placing a bet. If you feel your betting is becoming difficult to control, consider using responsible gaming tools such as deposit limits, time-outs, or self-exclusion. Betting should be treated as entertainment, not a guaranteed income source.
10) Complaints and Disputes
If you believe a bet has been settled incorrectly, contact OKplay support with your bet reference, the market details, and the reason for your request. We may request additional information to investigate. Where available, we will explain how the market was settled and the rule used.
